Nelle inquadrature su Kat, si vedono le mani di Beth che reggono entrambe una bottiglia, mentre nei controcampi (sia prima che dopo) le mani di Beth sono separate e la bottiglia è retta solo dalla sinistra.
Continuità: [N° 115139] [BD 0. 37. 20] Kat va dal detective per sedurlo. Si toglie il vestito aderente e rimane in topless. L'inquadratura si stringe in primo piano, e si nota del tessuto scuro sulla parte alta del petto, vicino all'ascella: l'attrice Shailene Woodley ha girato la scena in campo più largo realmente in topless, ma per le inquadrature più ravvicinate ha usato un top o qualcosa di simile, che però è parzialmente finito nell'inquadratura.
Plot Hole: [N° 115140] Durante la loro seconda notte insieme, il detective rivela a Kat che la polizia ha sempre sospettato che sua madre non fosse andata via ma fosse stata uccisa da suo padre. Se questo è vero, avrebbero facilmente ottenuto il mandato di perquisire la casa, e avrebbero trovato il cadavere della donna nel congelatore, dove è rimasto per anni. Infatti, alla fine del film il padre confessa di averla spostata dal congelatore e sotterrata solo dopo la serata in cui Kat e i suoi amici stavano per aprire il congelatore per metterci lo champagne.
